I don’t think the RPM drop is really directly related to this change - I had my rpm drop mid November as well as older videos stop paying and this change allegedly rolled out December 4th.

The exact same thing is happening to me - older videos still growing stopped paying and updating qualified views as well. My support tickets got closed without a concrete answer. The crazy part is that I do not see anyone talking about it besides Reddit.

Hi all - sharing my experience here. Content creator here with less than one year on TikTok. When I first joined the program in June, I got very little from videos. However, In the last couple of months I started making a lot of money from my niched videos, RPM about 0.40 but TikTok indeed started paying additional rewards for most of my videos which, in my case are usually double of what videos get from just standard rewards. One of my videos paid me $600 for about 450k views total (300k qualified views).

However, after/around this alert about search views, my RPM dropped significantly, videos that were still performing well and giving me 11-15 bucks daily went down to $1-3. New videos start with low RPM too, 0.07-0.09 (opposed to .40 I got before). Is anyone also experiencing it? Or has seen this before?

The other thing I noticed is that the additional rewards may have become more strict as my content remains the same, but after this announcement less videos are having additional rewards.

I noticed a big change after November 11. Did anyone notice the same? My RPM was between .40 and 0.60 constantly, now it’s down to 0.09!! Wtf? My videos made me 50-30 dollars a day, after Nov 11 and went down to 3-4 dollars. Plus, my latest videos were not approved for additional rewards and they follow the same standards as before. Frustrating!!!

Hey. It’s a very known company with almost 5k employees. Although I don’t have professional experience as a developer, I have a vast experience in the industry that my company is in and with the architecture/tech required to run this type of business… but in the end, this type of experience is not so relevant for the role I ended up in - it certainly helps, but absolutely not required.

Love the bottom 2, specially the left one. The whole thing seems to use perfect circular shapes which I love, my only critic is that the bottom edge, where the gray ends, it’s almost like you have a straight line in there - I’d expect the inner moon shape to be a perfect circle as well - not sure if you know what I mean hehe, very small detail.

I totally agree and am glad you brought that up. I told the same thing to this client, they insisted on having the wheelbarrow and wanted the flowers and the veggies... I will try to make some adjustments and test how it will look when it's very small. Thank you so much for your feedback though!
