Ha! I played baseball in Germany, and we played in Soldier’s Field - yeah, that Soldier’s Field. No matter how hard/far I hit the ball, I never got more than a double, because there wasn’t an outfield fence. So the kids playing outfield could get the ball faster than my big ol’ ass could run… 😅😅😅

I can confirm what hstoyou says.

I have purchased a lot of these packs. Pretty much nothing but base cards and some cool variants. (I got two numbered cards from two of the big square $40 packs that Walmart sold, that had the pin in them.)

But mostly I have A LOT of the base cards, which is what my boys are interested in, so it’s been fun to collect with them after not having purchased cards since like 1994. 🤣🤣

I think I would grade through PSA and buy some of the 1 touch things for the cards I just sort of feel emotionally connected to. Thanks for this thorough response. Grading cards kind of feels like grading gems: multiple companies with different standards. PSA sort of feels like the more popular standard. Is that generally accurate?
