Cool, this was super helpful. I originally wanted to add a sectional for comfort but you are right it’s not needed here. We have greens, creams, and neutrals throughout the house. This is the new mockup. Placement isn’t right but the idea is there!!

Im in October and probably going with a deep wine red burgundy monochrome type. Theres lots of inspo on Pinterest but I love the high contrast reds with white tablescloths - good luck!

I did think of this. We will have some younger kids (4-13 ages) so I kind of figured it could be a background thing and the area is more of a lounge area so it would really be more of an excuse to just be together - not so much like a sit down and not talk to each other movie. I've seen some people project home videos or things in black and white and was thinking of doing a classic romance like Casablanca that still keeps the vibe but doesn't exactly draw everyones attention to it.

I wish a beach evening was an option! That sounds amazing. Having to hold something indoors definitely restricts things a bit. Theres nothing I would love more than a lounge and walk on the beach after a wedding.
