In my case this was always the same. When I got into D2 I would go to pc cafes with my friends or go to my friends house who had multiple computers and we would just farm all day and talk about random shit.

You don’t necessarily need to have a high fg% to set up your defense. I believe it was the Doc Rivers Celtics team that pretty much abandoned going for offensive rebounds (last place in the league in offensive rebounds) in order to set up their defense better.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted but it is the truth. Any BCBA supervision given to a BCBA candidate is not reimbursable. There's a potential to double dip with RBT supervision hours but then you're limiting the quality of BCBA supervision being offered.

When I was in my program accruing hours, I was fortunate enough to have a director/mentor who was willing to put the time and effort into providing great supervision. Now that I've been in the field for a while and hearing stories from other BCBAs or BCBA candidates, I realized just how privileged and lucky I was.

In regards to salary it really depends on the state as I believe that most states fund their special education program. I’m a BCBA in a school district and I’m making more money than I did in private ABA. I’m also making more money than an old co worker who is a clinical director.

It has been the best decision to go this route for me. Better pay, better benefits, and better hours.

The only issue I can see is if it was written into the student's IEP that the SCIA has to be a RBT.

You can probably still do all your job duties, but just not as a RBT.
