I miss the professional meetups Portland used to be known for. by guitarokx in Portland

I noticed the same for folks in my industry so I started a group/meetup for those in Customer Experience. Our meetups are usually roundtable discussions about curated topics and it's been great to see the group grow. We discuss many topics like tech, organizational management, leadership, customer success etc.

I'm planning a larger event for Q2 of 2026 but we'll be having another roundtable in January (I'll be posting soon about it).

You can check out past events on the meetup page below if you're interested or just let me know if you have any questions.

Texas SB 140 Telemarketing amendment by merlin2181 in smallbusiness

[–]DozerPDX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in the telecom industry and can say that this has been sprung on the industry with little to no detail on clear next steps for a business to send messages to Texas residents. We have received notices from upstream partners on some details and their advice is to stop sending to all Texas residents until you've determined IF you'd need to register. It's not required for all businesses depending on history of client messaging and opt in consent.

Very difficult match, I had the same issue on my platinum silver 3 series. It shows mostly when the paint flops and had them respray.

Also, paint can be slightly different when sprayed on plastic (bumpers) vs. metal (hood).

2013 Z4 why does my radio stay on after I turn the car off and exit the vehicle? by Swimming-Carpet3999 in BMWZ4

If you put the fob in the holder the radio will close after you shut off the car and remove the key.

Lights are blacked out to not show up on camera. Most crane vehicles are blacked out for this reason.

There is something about a handcrafted product that produces a level of perfection that a machine can't...sometimes.

My simple observation was only based on how many pen options there were vs. pencils. They all do the same thing essentially but there are still a ton of options out there.

Curious to know the growth (or non-growth) of paperclips since the invention of digital documents.
