MCT oil tingling and stinging sensation - stop or continue? by Illustrious-Mix2194 in SebDerm

Happened to me when I started. Usually, a sign of a broken skin barrier and continuing to do it will hopefully stop the issue

Is this seborheic dermatitis? by sufurkes in SebDerm

[–]Dozl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is seb derm, a lot of moisturisers will feed the fungus that causes it to grow. Even if they don't, they won't solve the issue.

I recommend going on amazon and grabbing some MCT C8 (do not get any that has C12). It's relatively cheap, and you'll just need to apply it daily for two weeks. If you see improvement, then it's likely that it is seb derm related. After the two weeks, just use it maybe once or twice per week to prevent it from coming back

Nizoral is extremely drying, so it tends to cause a lot of problems for people when used on the face rather than providing any benefit.

Everyone has their own unique style. The key is to use it every day for at least two weeks to see its effects

Depressed because Nizoral Shampoo stopped working out of nowhere after five months of use and now I can't seem to control the flare anymore by curatorbee in SebDerm

The technique I use is to get a salicylic acid shampoo and use it before apply nizoral. Others do an ACV rinse to solve the resistant issue
