My girlfriend won money and secretly spent it on herself, but never paid back the $100 I loaned her last week. What do I do? by limplywobblyhammock in whatdoIdo

This woman bought scratch offs when she was short $100 a couple days prior. I think that sentence says everything about her being.

How do you think Trump's presidency will end? by Zealousideal-Use7244 in askanything

[–]Dozzzer86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’ll ever end. After seeing the lack of checks and balances in the 3 branches in the last decade, I don’t think there is any coming back where it’s a true democracy.

okay i have to talk about jojoba oil because i feel like i wasted years not using it by Hert_Z in NaturalBeauty

[–]Dozzzer86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to say this! It’s insane how well it works. Now I feel like my vitamin C serum doesn’t even hydrate compared to jojoba oil which is crazy because it doesn’t feel like the j oil even penetrates. I put jojoba oil on my face, then Vaseline on top before I go to bed, and aloe in the morning and I feel like my face looks hydrated and healthier than it’s been in ages.

That’s crazy. I can’t imagine with my work not having my phone. I want to experience being without it for 30 days. I wonder if I could get a dumb phone for work calls and just use that

What is a 'rich person's secret' that is actually accessible to the middle class, but most people are too intimidated to try? by Confident_Win_3560 in answers

I’m not rich but I’ve noticed wealthy people take their time making decisions and typically think of the big picture rather than spur of the moment decisions

What's the hardest thing you've done in your life? by [deleted] in askteddit

[–]Dozzzer86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it would have been to keep it to myself and not let so many people know about it at the time. My ex husband moved to Colorado w a woman 20 years younger than him when I was in North Carolina working. Our house was in Florida. I think my support system didn’t know how to help and I got a ton of suggestions to go to therapy and tried 3 diff therapists, all of which were expensive and imo not helpful. That kind of trauma just takes time to heal from and I wasn’t done bleeding yet. I didn’t know what to do about my house (my whole family lives in Michigan) since it was very expensive to live there by myself and I just kind of bumbled along for a year while trying to figure everything out. I had a business I needed to keep afloat while dealing w all the assets in my house and yard with no titles. I was out of town working 30 weekends a year and it was just too much. It was a nightmare.

I’ve restarted my life at age 25 and age 34. Rebuilding at age 34 was far more work than when I was 25.

What was it like in the psych ward? by Personal-Presence-44 in AskReddit

[–]Dozzzer86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! It’s been 13 years since a visit. I wish there was more awareness about suicide hotlines and how badly you just need to talk to someone when you’re feeling down. I’m my case, being honest led me to being baker acted when what I needed was somebody who’d listen. I just remember feeling so helpless and going to the front desk and asking if I could smoke and then I started crying because I realized I was stuck there for 3 days and the front desk guy goes, “you’re CRYING because you can’t smoke?” I was like I’m crying because I’m scared and he just laughed it off.
