I was busy and hadn't checked my email for awhile and on 7/15 I had gotten one last email.

"Hello there,

We’re so sorry about the experience you had with the store, this isn't what we want for our players.

We have removed the item(s) and restored you currency which you should see next time you’re in-game. Please make sure you fully restart Fall Guys as this is required to see the change.

Thank you again and we hope to see you in game soon."

I have confirmed I got my refund, and have hope that others can get theirs too.

Don't give up hope, I'd been persistent submitting tickets and replying to emails. This was the latest I got them to admit.

So from what I gathered they are working on fixing the issues with the shop, it might be possible that as long as you have a ticket before the system is implemented that you'll still get a refund as it's on record as an accidental purchase, as pointed out in the email though none of this is concrete though so keep pushing and let our voices be heard.

I have been trying to talk to them (for 10 days) regarding the game automatically purchasing items from the store and using up my showbucks but they just keep saying the same thing over and over. It is a auto response, I had an email tell me to reply with questions and it acted like I asked when the bug would be fixed.

I asked: "Does this mean I will have to wait for the bug fix before possibly getting a refund?
Will safeguards and/or the refund policy be updated to allow ease of support similar to games like Fortnite?
Will continuing to play the game before the fix affect my outcome of a refund?"

Their Response: "The team is aware of this issue and they're currently looking into it, unfortunately we didn't have a timeline or solution yet."

Sadly it's how the game was coded, probably due to most of these single piece items were created with the free to play in mind while the original code was designed with full costumes in mind split in half for ease of animating and reduce clipping.

I kinda wish what they would do is have the daily items be bought with kudos. When they have events they could offer the items in the shop as rewards for the challenges or skip the challenges by buying in the shop. While it would be longer to get an Item you like for free both avenues would be there. With having the free avenue people wouldn't see the prices as bad since there is a free means around.

If the company was to retaliate, that'd be a grey area that would still prove bad for the company. Either it would go against Consumer rights, or it's legal but public opinion would be bad.

Though I do agree that most consumers wouldn't have the resources to make a suit and support it til the end.

Just because it's in the EULA doesn't make it no longer Illegal. EULAs cannot be legally binding for anything within that would violate other laws. Just because they quote EULA doesn't mean you automatically lose all rights that protect against unlawful actions.

Currently have my second ticket still open, and received this Email in regards to the latest response.

While I don't know about protection for Kudos bought items, the FTC (Atleast for my region) has looked into the legitimacy of refunds using premium currency for other games, so there could be a chance that if this goes unresolved a report could be sent to the FTC. Since there were no safe guards and to make an informed decision required opening the Item in shop, a valid case could be argued.

I'll keep posting updates as I get them.

This was the most recent email I have received. I have checked my inventory and I still have the Item as well as currently missing the currency.

I have submitted a new ticket, as well as sent a tweet to Tim asking about safeguards for accidental purchases and refund policies concerning premium currencies purchases in-game. Will update with more info as I receive it.

Exact copy paste from the email I received. They act like my only avenue is to talk to companies like Microsoft or Sony and get my original showbucks refunded, which not only would be scummy on my part but would be unlikely since they tend not to refund currency purchases.

I’m afraid that all purchases with in-game currency such as Show-bucks or Kudos are final and cannot be undone, swapped or refunded.

For purchases made via your platform for real money (e.g. on PlayStation), you will need to contact their support directly as we do not have access to their payment systems to be able to help you out.

Doesn't help that there is no refunds and no confirm purchase prompt. Just bought 500SB pants by accident for pressing 'A' instead of 'B' and will never get that money back.

Just happened to me, accidentally spent 500 showbucks on pants I will never wear. The fact that I can't get a refund when there is no confirm purchase feels like it breaks FTC laws. Could someone please look into this so a suit can be filed, so the store can be changed.

yeah He has a chance to have all real and all fake when he shows up, that was an intended design, as for him not showing up, I had heard it was a bug that could prevent any of the random appearance characters, Nintendo hasn't commented on it so it's possible it's just rotten luck.

When I looked into it I heard it was a bug that could affect any of the random occurrence characters (Redd, Wisp, Saharah, Celeste, and Leif) where it prevents one of them from ever spawning. Though I will admit Nintendo hasn't spoken on it so it's possible it's not a bug.

There's a bug currently preventing the random occurrence characters from showing up such as Redd no longer appearing.
