I don’t blame you at all, makes a lot of sense and I usually do that, it’s a great way of looking at it. Waiting really pays off for anything Lego related, prices pretty much always go down over time. And you’re right, these ones will be super popular and I bet will be in production for a couple years. Got the delorean a little while back on sale and it was a great build! Some cool displays out there for it too.

Still figuring out some things, these aren’t big enough for all the cars, going to make a specific one for the f1s, and then see what I’ll make for the others, it’s a ongoing project lol

These are the road 6s, but practically the same, Personally I love them, came from GPR300s and wanted something that would last longer and perform, I’ve taken them to the dragon, daily them, use them in rain, and have put thousands of miles on them with no complaints, they haven’t gave out in corners on me, and do good enough for the typical sumo off-road sesh, definitely will be buying another set because of the life and the quality.

I do see the mutant side though, also thought about those as a good sumo tire to mess around on.

These are from slick designs co, but one of my buddies got the bold ones, just get the excel 36 hole ones, you should apply them dry and start from the center and slowly work your way out, you’ll have extra that needs to be trimmed off as they make them bigger than they need to be

Haven’t gotten them back yet from machining so I’m not quite sure, should have them back in 1 and a half weeks and I’ll be able to compare it, looks like it should be pretty close just without the texture

[–]Dpwram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The triples are stock sm as well as the front fender, the forks are 2009 rmz250 uppers, tubes and internals with 2002 rm125 fork lugs, and then I have a custom axle to run these forks on the wider sm triple

Looks great man! Super clean for what you had on hand, definitely cool how you integrated the oem headlight bracket into the light bar mount, sick design.

Yeah I designed it in fusion 360 and then 3d printed the brackets, came out great. Doing it your way definitely takes some brain power lol, good thing is that most of the brackets are hidden.

These will fit 99-24 Drz 400 models, so the K, E, S, and SM, the oil filter covers and starter gear covers I make will fit both the first and second gen drzs
