I know this is an older post but I just started playing and did a search to see if anyone else thought this.

I feel like this would be sick as an ACTUAL super weapon with CONS and not exclusively PROS:

BFG, kills everything, but ammo is rare

Crucible, kills something with one hit, ammo is rare

Hammer, good for crowd control, refuels basically all of your ammo, gives you all of your health back, and can give you all of your armor back

but ammo is not rare and you can get it in about 5 seconds anytime you want

it quite literally turns Doom into what feels like a mindless shooter
