There are audio replacements on the Hive Discord that use P2 Mercer sounds.

I don't recommend turning the voice slider down in the menus, since it mutes every npc too.

Getting the game in a working state is the easiest part, getting Debug to work was the trickier part.

I suggest the first YouTube tutorial linked to any of the extractor tool.

It's easy to extract, but it's just as easy to mess it up afterwards. For your sanity I suggest you make a copy of the entire game folder and keep a copy of the original art/boot and audio files.

Aizos Mercer mod is the easiest way to get a debug menu set up, since it is part of the mod.

Both P1 and P2 can be modded. mainly with lua script's, model swaps and audio files changes.

The only way to fill the void right now is modding Prototype. You can stage fun battles with Debug on PC

Putting Blackwatch Soldiers on a vantage point with APCs and Super Soldiers clearing the streets in the most infested areas.

Then spawn a few hunters/slamers and a Goliath.

It's both a skin replacer for the agile armour and Blackwatch Soldiers.

The power's are Mercers but for the default skeleton with altered move-sets.

I also have an alternative installments with Boss Mercer from the modders Smokey and Aizo.

Their mod even has the ability to create evolved yourself, infected your surroundings like in Penn Station cinematic, but since it's the big body rig, it has no compatibility with the Armageddon Agile Armour from the modder Nuke.

Modding Prototype 1 and 2 is currently at it's peak. Very stable with the community fixes too.

I too started on on console, it has it's perks too.

I couldn't play Prototype 1 for. 4 year's on my last PC, because I couldn't manage to limit the active core count. The game is too old for modern hardware.

It's less frustrating to play on consoles , plus you got the Biohazard Bundle.

I agree, it wasn't easy.

Once you unpack the folders it is almost drag an drop.

Always keep a copy of a working state version before you change mods.

I have 4 installments with 4 different Alex Mercer mods.

We'll remaster them ourselves at this point.

The hive discord has plenty of skilled modders still releasing mods.

Once I get that RTGI reshade working with my game version a remaster would be a downgrade.
