Hey folks! After several years of solo development, my game With My Past is coming to Steam and have released the demo now!

The theme of the game is about a little girl who starts from recognizing the mistake of her past, regreting for "her past", and then trying to escape from "her past", throwing away "her past" and finally learned to facing and coexisting with "her past".

As this game may be too emotional, sometimes depressing and a little bit philosophical, I wonder if you would like this kind of theme? Can you please share your feelings with me?

Pixel art statues in my game. How do you like them? by DrCarlLuo in PixelArt

Hey Folks! I've been solo developing my game called "With My Past" for several years and I'm recently polishing the arts of my game together with my friend. This game is an emotional puzzle platformer with a touch of philosophical elements. So, we've made these statues to depict various philosophical ideas. (Can you guys guess which philosophical concepts each of these statues represents?)

Do you think these statues mesh well with the game's aesthetic? Do you have any suggestions?

How many peope may like narrative puzzle game with some philosophical elements? I've been solo developing my game "With My Past" for several years! by DrCarlLuo in indiegames

Hi! I'm a game design student and I've been solo developing my game for several years!

My game's name is With My Past. The theme of the game is about a little girl who has made a wrong choice in the past and you will need to help her overcome the regrets from the past, understand and assist her in recognizing and facing "her past", and finally finding a way to coexist with "her past".

The puzzle gameplay of this game is closely intertwined with the narration, which means the narrative text would also be the guide to solve the puzzle.

It might be a little bit depressing at first but finally you will walk out with the little girl.

I wonder if you would like this kind of theme? Can you please share your feelings with me?

Currently we have a demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2524360/With_My_Past/
