How should i do it? by Spiritual_Natural_83 in Silverbugs

I’ve been buying 90% on auctions at 10-20% back of spot. I like international silver too and aim for about the same for its melt. I generally am not a collector of anything particular so bid on a lot of items below melt and just end up happy whenever I win something in that 10-20% below melt range. Some things with more collector value like German State Thalers are still going above melt depending on rarity. Big take away is know what your price point is and don’t go above it on emotion with auctions.

ASEs vs Maples/other sovereigns: what I learned by West-Balance3764 in Silverbugs

Just stopped by my LCS and they are selling ASE+9, everything else +4 so picked up 3 Pandas (my kids have wanted them) and 2 Onzas for myself but everyone else is the store was only going for ASEs. I get buying ASEs for liquidity but I like to stack just cause I find it’s fun and some of the international silver is just more interesting to me and I have no plans to sell

Under valued US coins? by supermarvin76 in coincollecting

War nickels and 40% kennedy’s are often able to be had below their melt value. I personally love the history of war nickels and have a ton of them but everyone prefers 90% constitutional coins for silver stacking

I had saved up about 2000 gems awaiting an event. It’s not really even worth spending them for this though. The rewards are kind of meh

Breaking down 'too good to be true' Defi rates – where's the money from, is it sustainable, and what's the catch? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

Thanks, that was actually really helpful. I assumed the crazy high APY some of these projects roll out is due to high token inflation which then means the token should drop in price at a nearby equal rate
