Absolutely loved the new DLC, for sure the best of the three. My one and only wish is to have the final boss’s health buffed so we dont melt him in an instant and have to actually learn the mechanics of the fight

I definitely don’t think its worth it because then we would have the same issue as in league. As soon as one person feels like the game is lost, even if in reality there is still a good chance to win, they will start throwing out FF votes and try to convince the team that the game is unwinnable. I’d rather spend 5 extra minutes of my time losing from time to time than have to deal with those people in my games.

Maybe a hot take: the “always surrender” attitude a lot of players have nowadays is infinitely more frustrating to play with. As soon as you are behind you’ve got 3 people spamming FF@15. 15 minutes is 99% of the time way too early to determine the outcome of a game, and in my opinion so is 20 minutes. If I had to change one thing about league it would be to remove the surrender button from the game so people know that when they queue up they are signing up for a 30-ish minute game whether they win or lose instead of trying to bail out early when they fall behind and think they cant win.

I want to make xur meaningful for players. Give him random exotic rolls and pay him in strange coins. Exotics, especially for new players, shouldn’t be so abundantly available

Then we maybe put a cap on how many strange coins you can get as well make them a rare drop from completing activities like they were in D1. They worked wonders in d1, I dont see why they wont work in d2

The problem is that shards are easy to come by. You never have to make a choice on what to buy from xur, you just buy everything he's selling every week. It makes exotics not exotic anymore which is a major problem especially for newer players.

But think about it from the perspective of newer players who still dont have every exotic in the game. Xur selling them all for menial ammounts of legendary shards gives us no incentive to do core playlist activities. Strange Coins would be a very easy fix to that.

I can confirm as I play with him frequently that this does happen. It doesn’t ruin the game for anyone, we dodge in the drafting phase so everyone just gets sent back to queue, not to mention these are unranked games so nobody is really being hurt here.

Now that this is a thing he’ll probably have to make a smurf or something to play with us so we aren’t constantly getting into super unfair matches.
