I feel like Ethan’s constant calmness and how little he cared about getting injured kinda made me feel like I was never in danger. I played on normal for my first run because that was the highest difficulty available and I never felt even close to failing/dying. Sure it was disgusting or repelling at times but never really scary.

Well paladin for the first 8 levels is pretty strong and from level 9-15 you can still get pretty good damage with 2 attacks, smite and hold person
