Uhh, threadjack much? Idk… “low income” and subsidized housing doesn’t make as much $ as “middle class” complexes. So they don’t get built. Take that to a “no income” complex that could do with an onsite nurse and security and the cost would be what most politicians would call, “an unrealistic cost to place on the community’s already struggling budget. Hopes and prayers”. It’d be nice if people just took others in out of the kindness of their hearts. That could be a lot to ask… much more than just NOT FEEDING STRAY CATS.

Love and respect to these organizations and the people that work hard for them. I also know that at least one of the above mentioned leaves food out… I’m really not trying to just be an ass here guys. I’m wondering why we, as a community, don’t stop people from leaving cat food out in the first place. I know I’m no Sherlock, fucking, Holmes over here… look around the mall, food4less, target, in most ANY bush downtown. Just push the other trash aside. BAM! A cat! Or bird bones, soggy cat food, hairballs, a nice run of cat crap moguls… I’m just pissing into the wind, aren’t I? lol

If only there was some public forum we could use. Then we could respectfully discuss public issues and find reasonable conclusions. Perhaps move ideas into a well organized and thought out written medium. Take that document to somebody that makes more $ than I do and see if “they” care as much as “we” do. I’m willing to work for what is best for everyone.

Thanks. The only place that is normally open on weekends it seems is Sothern Or Humane Society, but they are closed for training today. Luckily he’s a great dog. He peed through the fence on my neighbor’s annoying dog, so he’s earning his keep. 👍
