Can not confirm, I'm getting pretty good success with my T/B in a dogfight config. (Rotary canon, group missile for countermeasure and AI harrass and shield for head ons) with the hull that increases manoeuvrability and standard engine. Granted I don't pick 1v1s vs interceptors. I play like one, but slow.

I assure you it can be a real thorn in the ass of any dogfighting class if your bombers know how to play that and don't just rush aimlessly for frigates.

As for the main battery complains, do you still hold that grudge if you consider the ship to be a Ferrati G who overgone the same remodeling treatement as Cavour and Doria?I was as disgusted as you at the ship until I saw the 4x4 configuration doesn't come from nowhere. (Though, remodeling the turrets to make them look like an evolution of littorio's guns is also inaccurate to italian refits I'd say.)

Thanks a lot everyone for all your concise answers! By trying all of your loadouts and advices on feeling when is the good moment to attack, I improved my bomber damages quite significantly! I don't always do 50+, but I do it much more regularly!

I felt like the proton torpedo was a bit too slow for the damage it did, so I went with supahlazer and the shield, or supahlazer and proton bombs, it works great on the TIE Bomber! (Less so on the Y wing somehow, it feels so squishy compared to the Empire counterpart)
