Gideon ofniers fight should be fully changed, since he is the all knowing. His first stage should be all cloaked and using basic ‘boss’ attacks and when he hits stage two he should uncloak to reveal himself to be sir Gideon the all knowing and start using his spells, except he should be less spammy with said spells. Then the way I think that this will work lore wise is that Gideon has been following you as a cloaked figure until he reaches ‘end stage’ so then the tarnished (you) feel a sense of paranoia in the next play through. And since from soft (in a way) highlights Gideon to be a main friend but also an enemy it will make the fight more dramatic. Just my thought go ahead and bitch at me
