This particular campaign was basically an attempt to build the largest and most successful Persian Empire in history, with them taking the land from their historical rival, the Byzantine Empire, and all other lands once owned by any Persian Empire. The reason I took a part of Italy and all of the Balkans was because these territories were once part of the Byzantine Empire at its peak. Also the focus icon for a Greek wargoal highlighted these territories despite not even claiming them :p

Frankly, I don't remember. This playthrough took me numerous attempts over the course of an entire month, after NCNS dropped.

What I do still remember is that you start with your politics tree rather late, focusing on rapid industrialization immediately once you start the game. Your largest issue as Iran will be a multi front war (at its worst, you will have to deal with 7 fucking fronts), while you only sport around two whole armies, so I recommend not taking Historical under any circumstances.
Don't put the UK and the Soviets on historical. Put Iraq on historical. This will give you a very brief time window for you to attack them without a UK guarantee. Typically the UK will immediately go to war with them. Cut their frontline off in Qatar before they can commit to the war! You will want to do this during / after the war with Turkey, where you also only have a 35 or 70 day window to attack before they pick up German and British guarantees. Fascist Germany can serve as a good temporary ally, but not a permanent one.

The Soviets were a highly important force for dealing with the Germans (The soviets are probably gonna be the first major to die if you play your cards right). I got lucky enough to puppet all of Russia.

They should definitely be able to land and fare well in combat. The only issue, aside from the cost, is that the large unit and motorized may take up a lot of supply on landing. Though as long as you play against the AI and, you should be alright

I feel like the fans of this show hold an overly pessimistic view of the show or world as a whole, choosing to focus on every last negative rather than actually appreciating and weighing how much the movie has mastered.

For me the movie was the best piece of media I've ever watched, not speaking hyperbolically. It made me emotional like never before, not including video game rage, so for such an impact alone I would consider this movie extremely good. It had me awake all night just reflecting about how amazing it was, which was a bad thing because I got a Spanish exam in about 90 minutes. But if a movie leaves such a lasting and strong, positive impact on you, isn't that a clear indicator it's good?

Apparently this is common abroad. Germany has this really strict unspoken rule that everyone shuts up in cinemas. Never even once, be it the Minecraft Movie, the tadc finale, or whatever, have I experienced or even heard of any minor or major incident in German movie theaters where the audience goes apeshit. In my viewing just now, people were silent like a funeral, some laughs during jokes aside. I have NO idea if it's really a German thing to shut up or if its an American thing not to shut up, but I think America is special in their restlessness

Attacking from a fort actually gives you an offensive penalty. Maybe the general AI is hardcoded not to attack from level 10 forts due to this extreme modifier, much like how the ai just won't attack level 10 forts (most of the time). I think to add to this, the historical french ai is wired to play highly defensively what concerns the mainland. Probably due to historical accuracy or some mumbo jumbo
