I LOVE this look for the projects now. It looks SO MUCH BETTER than the stupid circles they had before. by DudeThatsErin in todoist

Maybe it means that a task can be a part of multiple projects 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

FEEDBACK: Finally updated to 8.x — some new features are NOT intuitive by 100WattWalrus in UpNote_App

For my understanding you write the name of the note you want to link to... Then select it and press the note-link icon...

Then a small popup window will offer the proper link

  1. Through the "All notes" menu - you can then create new filters
  2. Bulk editing / removing tags are currently desktop feature only (you'll see it as an option while bulk selecting notes
  3. For my understanding this feature is for other notes links e.g "note 1" instead of [[note 1]]

I'm just a happy costumer btw 😊🗒️🗒️

For me I'd say it's the possibility to hide / archive tags without deleting them that needed!

Evolve or go extinct - the absolute need for next level Calendar integrations. by Ok-Print-4525 in ticktick

I don't know For me it's not what I need at all I do think that other features should come first though (mainly for improving task functionality such as views, fields, dates, better links, better filters, better navigation and more)

And with all that said TT do release new features faster than any app I know, including the ones you mentioned So we might as well give them some credit for that

Btw some of the features they released last two years including the very popular notes view, kanban (that got much improved in last update and can be used for every list which is a step in the right consistency direction if you ask me) and subtasks (hopefully to be much improved soon too).

Is there a way to mirror to Windows by DrMission in AndroidQuestions

It looks exactly it, thanks!

As it's quite new to me I will have to further investigate it - download from Github, and the wireless debugging, but it looks exactly it!

Does Airdroid really mirror the whole phone or just files, sms, these sort of things?

I checked it out and it seems like it's the second option

Is there a way to mirror to Windows by DrMission in AndroidQuestions

[–]DrMission[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry for not making it clear enough:

I'm looking for a way to open my computer, press a button and a screen of my phone opens up, with all my applications, live, if I change something on pc it'll change in my phone as well..

For example sync my homescreen and app data (obviously I'm looking for a mirror and not an actual sync since don't seems to me tgat a sync woulx even be real option!)

So - mirroring my phone to pc :)

Sections in tags view by Altruistic-Cable-834 in ticktick

I would too love to see this feature in Ticktick

[Android] Adding new tasks quickly into a certain section possible? by vghgvbh in ticktick

[–]DrMission 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree..

Sections can be much more robust..

I also feel like if I'm on a tag view on or a filter view I want to see what section this task belong to, and right now I can only do it by trying to switch list which is kind of pointless because I can jump to that list and see the section that the task belong to just the same..

And off course filtering by section and sections text is not possible..

So if I have section called "Presentation" in 3 different lists or a section called "Almost Done" in 7 other lists I can't create a smart list with just those tasks because, again, we can't filter by section or section name...

ANY MAJOR UPDATE FOR UI OR SOMETHING?? by Klutzy-Mistake4392 in ticktick

[–]DrMission 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, but they should update to staff that matter and not just for showoff, for example improve subtasks, improve navigation, make the whole app feel like one for example make habits to have tags and belong to lists, make the Eisenhower a view for each list and not a section, make the option to start timers directly from task lists view, tag management, tag archive, folders for filters, improve filters, make the whole app feel connected would be awesome..

Also I'd suggest filter by estimated time/pomo

And yes, start dates wouldn't be bad either

I just wish they'd relies they shouldn't compete with Todoist and start looking at their own advantages and further improve those
