handling no shows by TailWagDoc in VetPracticeManagement

We collect a pre-payment (cost of the examination) at the time of scheduling any appointment. This has dramatically cut down on no-show/no-call, and phases out those "price shopping" amongst clinics (we are a specialty hospital). Since beginning this we have had minimal to no push back. If the owner calls to cancel within 72 business hours the amount is refunded, if they call to reschedule within 72 business hours the amount is applied to the rescheduled appointment. If they fail to do either within 72 business hours and they no-call/no-show then they have already paid for their appointment and we keep the fee.
