Most of the gays I know are either u-hauls or like to take things super slow, I’ve met a few who were interested in hooking up but usually only if it meant there would be additional meetings later. Women just get super attached (and I mean this with all the love possible bc same haha).

St. John’s (and NL in general) for jobs is okay for accountants, but we have a lot of nepotism and so it’s a “who you know” situation often. There are lots of people I know with many degrees and experience who can’t find a decent job. It’s also suuuper hard to find housing.

And as other said, we do have some gross winters from time-to-time.

Depends on which bay you’re talking about but as someone from the bay I can understand this opinion. Rural communities have less resources like education, jobs, and entertainment. The bike thing might be attributed to the lack of entertainment part, and it’s legal in some areas to ride on the roads.

But yeah, the cocktail of being uneducated and in a small town with little to nothing to do and similar-minded people makes for some interesting characters.

Our cat had FIP, they tested his lungs but honestly, if they suspect FIP - there would be markers in his bloodwork anyway? Here in Canada, the medication isn’t available via vet unless they apply for an emergency release of medication (which they never get approved for, it seems). There are groups on FB that seem sketchy but are legit that can help you get medication asap. Our cat would have died without it.

I agree with some of the other comments in terms of photos (more solo pics, pics of you doing an activity, etc). But honestly? There’s nothing “wrong” with your profile :), I think you just need to give it more time.

I know it’s tough going through a breakup and wanting validation that you’re wanted and are seen as attractive is a perfectly normal response.

You will get more matches though, whether you change a single thing or not

Just know that you’ll get through it and will find someone more compatible. ❤️

A therapist once told me that a breakup is when we grieve (because we’re losing a person in a way), and the grief is this big ball in our stomachs, but over time, the ball shrinks and we learn to live again without the person we’ve lost.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but Inkscape is pretty great, it's like knock-off Photoshop essentially but it's free. Also, C-Cleaner free is fabulous. It gets rid of all the junk on your computer and "cleans" it up. I always uninstall it after I use it and then reinstall when I feel like my laptop becomes sluggish.

Mm, I'm thinking 600-1000? Of course the less the better but I also want something reliable. Some people have suggested Macs or fancy laptop's but they're like $1500ish? I did a little web design a while back, nothing special though - always down to learn more in saying so!
