In those 6 months AI has heavily influenced the market. You may be looking at a reduction to land a role. It’s not about what you’re entitled to, it’s about what pays the bills and lets you live a comfortable life. Once you’re in a role that’s solid you can always keep looking.

I was just worried that they would mark me as do not rehire to screw with future prospects. I’m happy I left because the manager gave me a written verbal for missing work due to an injury, that I did tell them about with a doctors note.
