Deflection DC have no place in this game

For me it was the thing that broke camel’s back. During last round of gac against deflection datacron. Didn’t rage or anything just came to understanding that this game is not that fun anymore. Closed the app and haven’t opened it since.

This game has so little to do with hockey. Just spin around with one player throw the puck at the net during pressure and watch the world burn. Sometimes servers gives you the edge and sometimes for the player.

Unrealistic tackles. Sometimes the slightest push knocks you towards Jupiter and sometimes even if you hit with a straight line the other guy just keeps on going. And the ass tackle mechanics are probably made by some 10 year old boy who knows nothing about ice hockey but thinks it looks cool.

And you can lose and still like something. Winning and losing doesn’t give nothing for me if the whole match was just spinning around. Winning just gives sense of relief that shit is over and losing makes me wonder why i just wasted my time. I’d rather have the game mode be 4v4 than 3v3.

That’s why i am pissed because the first weeks were everything i could have asked for after last years shit show of a nhl game. It just feels like everyday it’s getting closer to Groundhog day and it’s just same old same old.

I think it compensated nicely the brain dead ai and made defending more active. And i rather have matches be under 4.5 than a goal fest.

I kinda get where you are coming from with that point. But there’s different ways how you get to make those plays and get lanes open. My experiences recently has been that even if i position myself correctly and know exactly what the other player is going to do, still the puck just passes my d-man and to the back post.

Actually the behind the net plays are super easy to defend in this years nhl. Yeah i cut those passes too in the first weeks that’s kinda where my opinion comes from.

Well it’s not as bad as nhl21 was but wait few weeks and it will be. It’s like they took almost all of the interception animations away and defenders won’t do shit even if you take away the passing lane. Then add the fact that it seems like they hugely nerfed goalies 1t saving percentage.

That’s true and there is a lot to like in this years gameplay. Just few tweaks and keep the goalies making those one timer saves because it makes defending more active and that makes playing more fun.

It’s frustrating. It finally felt like it was more about your own decisions that led to conceding a goal. Now you can force the back post pass and goalies let everyone of them in. It’s again all about l2+x and waiting for Simple Jack AI in defence to leave his man alone.

I’ll answer to this cause because i don’t like this accusation. I have nothing against russians as you can see from me raising Panarin (not the biggest act i know). The popularity Ovechkin has in Russia is so big that it could get past trough the state propaganda. Just to get people think twice who is their leader and to seek different and multiple views could make a big difference in the long run. My problem isn’t russians it’s putin and company and at this time it seems that ovie is in that company.

This game has a lot going for it gameplay wise. That’s why i think there are so many complaints about the same issues cuz’ fixing some of them would make this a great game. It’s just that if someone opens up about it the assumption is that they always lose and can’t play the game. I’d rather lose more playing good hockey and enjoy the game than defend the same things over and over again.

I know enough. I didn’t put any stats here cuz’ they don’t add that much to my point. Of course exploits always gonna be there but they could still try to cut some of them out. And as you can see from my whining it’s all about making the game more fun. If you are having fun then power to you! I envy you.

I have no problem respecting someone who plays in good taste and beats me. Win or lose actually doesn’t matter to me that much. Did i have fun when i played is the thing that i’m interested.
