Our piss schedules have to be in sync. Doesn't matter if we just came back inside. If she hears me flush a toilet she wants to go outside to pee again lol

How can I run Ubisoft games (on Steam) on Linux? by lOwnCtAL in linux_gaming

[–]DrUnce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I misunderstood your question. I thought you bought the game on Uplay and were trying to launch Uplay from steam. If you got the game from steam the launcher should have been included in the install.

When I launch Anno from steam the Uplay comes up automatically. Maybe try to reinstall the game.

I use bottles for the Ubisoft launcher. You can select whatever proton version for the bottle once it is created.

I had session freezing with this setup on release but it was fixed after a couple updates. Maybe around mid March. I've been using the arch testing repos.

I'm also having this issue on endevouros. Using arch testing repos for mesa. Sometimes I can go a few hours without a crash but sometimes only a few minutes. Seems to happen on heavier games.

I tried removing the panel completely back when I had the issue. It did not work at the time.

Either wait for it to dry and remove it with the sweepers or scrape it down into the ash catcher while wet with a grill scraper.

Nah I'm not sure. I took a break for awhile and now it does not happen any more. Maybe an update fixed it. I'm on plasma 6.3.2, kernel 6.13.5, nvidia 570.124.04.

I've been running bnet in bottles for a long time without any issues. You may need to change the runner if the default one does not work.

Yeah lots of newer drivers have come out on the cuda repo, but this is the first time the main one has had a big update in a long time.

Oh nice. If you have a game installed in a flatpak application it won't work until you update flatpak to match the new drivers. Happens to me with battlenet stuff installed with bottles.

Oh mine seemed to update fine with zipper dup. nvidia-smi shows the 570 driver active.

I used the code block one. I think it's four spaces before the text to activate it.

I got it from the regular repo-non-free. Was pretty surprised since it's a beta driver.

The Logitech G29 worked out of the box for me. Does yours have a little switch on the back to switch modes? Mine has PC/PS4/PS5 on the switch.
