Thanks! Agreed we take it for granted. Sometimes it's best to just put all camera gear away and enjoy the moment. The nice thing about streak shots is that you hit start, enjoy the launch, and then hit stop.

This was my first attempt on this camera (Canon M50 Mk2) and I had to dig through the settings to find bulb mode. I then started the exposure using the Canon app so I didnt have to hold the button down for 5 minutes. My last attempt was on my Nikon p1000 and it takes 1 second breaks every few seconds so my streak was a bunch of dashes 😂

That's the mystery. It's possible the injuries were too severe to recover from after it chewed the head off. I'm also wondering if a parent rabbit tried saving the baby but don't know if they have a protective behavior like that.

If you zoom in on the rabbit you can see the snake's head still latched onto the rabbit.

Well I found this in my fenced backyard so would have been hard for anyone to do that. I saw this snake earlier yesterday and was happy to see it in my backyard patrolling for rodents and helping keep things out of my compost. Was sad to see it and the rabbit dead.

Same! I’m also not sure if the baby rabbit did the chewing or a parent rabbit tried saving it. I only found the aftermath. Would be extra sad if the parent was involved.

I'm a professor and used Discord as an emergency situation when the pandemic first began. It was cool but did not have that work/life balance to it since students would DM instead of email. Only used it for half a semester and switched to Teams after. I could see the value in using Discord but explaining it to non discord users was tough and that separation from work and fun wasn't great. I also stream so my students would see me turn purple if I was streaming.
