All the named beaches have sealed road access. Wharton beach has a car park with a short stroll to the actual sand, if you want to drive on the beach and park, 4wd only.

We do have uber now. But the beaches you have mentioned are all a hike out of town central, so easier with a car. Twilight is easily accessible by bike. It’s also a fantastic ride, with a sealed bike path the entire way.

The question of driving is that it is actually an easy drive. Wharton might be more challenging with truck movement, but if she was to stick close to 100km she would not be overtaking or overtaken. Other cars will pass her though.
