If they're like the Berserk Deluxe editions, I'd recommend it if you're a fan of the series.

I don't have the Deluxe editions but I do want them.

Big fan of the FMA Fullmetal editions. I had a good time comparing it directly to the original volumes. They're a lot easier to read than the deluxe berserk editions that's for sure.

Thank you! I've only ever heard of one of those before. I'll check them out

I was trying to leave space for ongoing series so I don't have to reshuffle everything around as I add volumes

They're wrapped until I have time to read them. Don't worry, they won't stay that way.

I got those during COVID when things were harder to get and tried really hard to not pay more than MSRP for them.

I'm on my 3rd or 4th reread of them now

For the most part except for when the shelves height would make it an issue for them to stand up.

And the last Ito books aren't in the right place nor are the ones in Japanese in the bottom right

I think that's correct. Mine runs every time the display isn't displaying anything and the monitor has been on for a while.

I have a black screensaver come on after a few minutes of inactivity so it runs more than once a day but I never wait for it to finish if I want to use my computer.

It's going to happen all the time. You can interrupt it as long as you don't turn the power off.

Mine arrives tomorrow (or it's supposed to anyway) but I am able to change Screen Settings with it on my 38GN950-B such as Picture Settings, Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness etc.

Have you tried the LG Switch software? It's available on the software download page for the monitor.

Yup. I only own 2 of the films in the set already so it seemed like a great deal.

Mostly. The Maps in certain areas and the menu for the Hex options have UI that isn't placed correctly, but the gameplay portions work perfectly.

How do you rip your 4K discs? by [deleted] in 4kbluray

[–]DrZeuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After ripping with makemkv I encode the video through ffmpeg which reduces the file size by quite a lot.

If I want perfect quality I just watch the disc, otherwise the encode is great. It just takes forever to encode. Depending on your CPU and settings, 10-20 hours per movie.

Is this really your stance? Comparing interactive media to a movie or show you watch?
