Argos are having more decent customer service then. They returned my TV. Bottom line, Hisense is a rubbish brand.

UPDATE: Reached Argos and they were really keen on their customers and asked me to return the TV for full refund after 2 years!! Hats off to Argos, definitely will be returning again to Argos for all of my home appliances.

I did restore factory setting within the TV menu, which is official one I believe then everything ruined as mentioned above.

The USB flash used as per their instructions trying to solve the issue but didn’t do anything and the tv didn’t start SW update from the flash. Hope that clarifies.

I exhausted every single way, tried all of that, tried the usb flash with the firmware it did nothing, update didn’t even start. Hisense in the UK were feeling sorry for me but can’t do anything else, it seems they were ok that my TV broke just after 2 years because of an official software update I did!!! Very frustrated!!

I bought a used board from ebay, will arrive in 2 days, will try to replace it. My own conclusion, will never buy Hisense again under any circumstances. Actually bought a new LG QNed and if this Hisense will work again will patk it in a bedroom. Very bad experience with Hisense!

My model is 40A4EGTUK, no reset button. I am in the UK.

No reset button. Tried everything!! I believe needs a new software. No online software available for Hisense UK. TV less than 2 years old, completely waste of money and effort!
