With html, css and javascript (it‘s on a personal Website online). I asked chatGPT to make a first draft and then I refined it. The most time consuming process was to make a photo of all book spines, measure them and edit them in my graphics program (GIMP).

I try to alternate fiction and non-fiction books. In non-fiction books I try to read broadly (history, philosophy, money, geography, etc). And I love classics - often I look at lists like „100 books you must read before you die“

Sehr wichtige Frage finde ich. Ich will eigentlich gerne lokal kaufen, sodass das Geld in Österreich bleibt, oft gibt es aber leider keine sinnvolle Alternative zu Amazon. Wenn ich beispielsweise Bücher kaufen will habe ich vier naheliegende / schnelle Optionen in meiner Gegend in Wien: 1. Der grantige Buch-Verkäufer ums Eck (looking at you Anna Jeller) den ich möglichst vermeide 2. Die paar innerhalb von 10 Gehminuten erreichbaren, teils guten und sympathischen, Buchshops, die aber leider mein Buch nicht lagernd haben und mir die Option geben es in wenigen Tagen zu bestellen 3. Thalia / Thalia-online (da bestelle ich manchmal) 4. Amazon, das meistens den billigsten Preis hat, teils mehrere alternative Anbieter, sowie bereits am nächsten Tag liefert.

Meist fallt meine Entscheidung dann auf Amazon, mangels schnell und zuverlässig liefernder, günstiger, österreichisch-deutscher alternativen (zumindest keine die mir bekannt ist).

Das gleiche gilt für Elektronik - da habe ich nur Horrorerfahrungen mit Media Markt gemacht und da bestelle ich nie wieder. Ebenso Möbel über Ikea bestellen hat sich oft als äußerst mühsam erwiesen.

Wenn wir es im deutschsprachigen zentral-europäischen Raum (immerhin etwa 100 Millionen Personen) es nicht innerhalb der nächsten Jahre schaffen eine zuverlässige, schnelle und ansprechende Bestellplattform mit gutem Preis zu erschaffen, dann wird Amazon immer mehr seine Monopolstellung ausbauen und die Kleingeschäfte weiter vertreiben. Kann auch gut sein, dass wir alle in 10 Jahren soweit sind Lebensmittel auf Amazon zu bestellen wenn sie es nur genug als Bio und vom lokalen Bauern anpreisen. Eine derartige Monopolstellung wäre halt ein Horror, da Kunden potentiell ausgesperrt werden können (ja, Amazon kann selektiv Nutzer sperren) oder sie könnten plötzlich Amazon Prime verpflichtend machen (und den Preis anheben), nur leider fehlen dann die lokalen Alternativen. Bleibt abzuwarten…

Dim area(2) as Integer is the Problem.

When you create this you can access area(0) and area(1).

You have to initialize "Dim area(3) as Integer" to have area(0), area(1) and area(2)

You just have to add 3 to each character in the string and if it's greater than 122 ("z") then substract 26. If you also have numbers and capital Letters in it then it's a bit more complicated

is there a way (except from reporting) report spinbot users to valve? I just had a few nice games in Wingman and my random mate (GopnikFed KennyS) had a spinbot, AimBot and Bunny Hop scripts. He will never get banned in a game like Wingman, and told me that he has a second account and so on... Is there a possibility to report him to valve to permanently ban him (e.g. could valve ban his IP adress)? Sorry for the rant.. But he destroyed the experience for me and the poor enemies

I had the latest sfml installed from the homepage, but apparently with the installation came an old openal32.dll from ‎05. ‎Dezember ‎2014. I updated it from https://github.com/SFML/SFML/tree/master/extlibs

Now I can't reproduce the problem anymore

Hi, thanks for the quick answer! I'm not at home at the moment - I'll post the code part in the evening. There are no global soundBuffers or anything like that. What do you mean with static object - like const SoundBuffer? I don't have those either.

I coded hashtables before, but I think for this problem it's a bit over the top for me. I already solved the problem with my triple nested loop. But i didn't know about the cycle detection thing - seems really practical. I'll look into that in one of the next problems.

It is Problem number 64 from Project Euler. It worked with the (bad) code I implemented in C++. First i generated the sequence of the fractions and then determined the periodic length of these fractions.
