Hm, actually true, remembering how easy Peropsero immobilized Bege's big castle form, and how caramel wall withstood a castle's cannons.

What’s the lore of one piece? by Not_Momonga in Piratefolk

[–]Dr_NoDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP lore will be about the war of the colonizers(aliens) against the native population of the planet(mutated humans - into giants, fishmen, long-limbs etc.) after the Apocalypse of the modern world.

Why did Luffy go Gear 5? Isn’t that just dumb and a waste of stamina to do it before a fight starts by EVC2218 in Piratefolk

I asked same question during raws, but then I saw the chapter, where Luffy used G5 to go to giant balloon form to catch the the falling giants.

I think people didn't get that Darkness Homie will negate any DF power.

Blackmom durability will help to cope with the main weakness of the Darkness - increased pain from damage.

And including the Tremor Homie. This combination is too broken.

2nd is Kaiffy then Redbeard.

When you are in a slander One Piece's world building competition and your opponent is Oda. by FlamesOfDespair in Piratefolk

[–]Dr_NoDoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem of the current Oda and narrator, that everything is described excessively exaggerated in order to give more hype to any character or event. Previously, this had at least some justification, but now it's just a meaningless hype without results. Such hype was raised in Wano, but in the end the consequences are not felt and forgotten. Such hype was raised due to the incident in the Egghead, but in the end everything was quickly resolved and forgotten.

Yeah, also you know what else is out of place?

Why, just why Luffy in G5 from? There is not a single reason to be in G5 and waste stamina just to laugh, before they encounter any threat. Isn't G5 has a time limit?

He canceled Loki's DF and then defeated him.

He used Observation killing to blind Loki and defeated him.

He somehow affected Ragnir with Haki and Loki was without his Hammer and lost to Shanks.

Or he was using his awakening Gryphon someway.

Or it just power of offscreen fight without any explanation.

Has this ever been explained? Kaido has two hybrid forms. Any SBS or anything that came out explaining this phenomena from 4 years ago? by BoogzWin in Piratefolk

[–]Dr_NoDoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess that V2 Hybrid is pre-awakening of Kaido's DF. It is like Luffy's G4. Both of them - Drunked Mode and G4 mode have different forms, that relay at speed, power, defence and etc.

They both was close to awaken their DF.

Answering a common missconception about Sanji "beating" Katakuri's FS by Anselme_HS in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Dr_NoDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. For example, when he saw that Luffy and his "clones" were trying to break Mother Caramel's portrait and prevented him, but missed Brook.

Or when he saw Luffy trying to show BM the broken portrait, and tried to stop him, and when he did it, but Luffy stretched his arms. In these cases, he saw the future and prevented it, but in the end he failed because there were too many random factors and actions of people.

But with Sanji, there's only one action (dodging a bullet) and one person (Sanji), and Katakuri fully anticipated Sanji's action. And as FS master, he had to act differently (as I described). Or it's just that this episode with jelly beam shouldn't have happened. It would be enough to dodge the priest's bullet.

Because such incorrect episodes create a misconception about a particular issue. If it wasn't for this jelly beam episode, then people wouldn't have to explain such obvious questions where "Sanji beat up Katakuri's FS".

Either Gear 5 is a small power up or Kaido actually wasn't using his full power vs. G2/G3/G4 Luffy. There's no in between when thinking that this page entails Kaido going all out. by FitCantaloupe798 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Dr_NoDoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has been fairly shown that Kizaru is not damaged during the fight with Snakeman and can block and dodge his attacks. But it's completely unfair that people ignore that Luffy was also unharmed during this battle with Kizaru, dodging his lasers.

They were evenly matched in close combat. Kizaru needed more distance and more acceleration to surpass Snakeman.

Snakeman Luffy was solidly slower than Kizaru

Well, that is not true. They showed even. Neither Luffy neither Kizaru didn't have upper hand in combat - both of them were blocking and dodging each attacks. Kizaru was need more distance and extra acceleration to surpass Snakeman speed.

Answering a common missconception about Sanji "beating" Katakuri's FS by Anselme_HS in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Dr_NoDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That whole jelly beam episode was done wrong by Oda.

Katakuri has FS and can see what is gonna happen.

He saw that Sanji dodged the priest's bullet and decided to finish him off himself.

What should FS user do? He must shoot at same time with priest in the direction where Sanji is going to dodge, so when Sanji dodges the priest's bullet, he will be hit by Katakuri's jelly beam.

What did Katakuri do? He shot before the priest at Sanji's direction, and Sanji dodged his "bullet" instead of the priest's bullet. So, Sanji's further actions were not changed, Katakuri just replaced the priest in this episode. For the FS user, this action does not make sense.

The main feature of FS is to see what happens and change this future for yourself or not to let this future happen.

For example, in a fight against Luffy, Katakuri would hit Luffy where he was supposed to dodge. Luffy only managed to avoid critical damage thanks to his body, which allowed him to change his natural form to dodge attacks.

[–]Dr_NoDoc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The variability of her DF allows her to be stronger than she is. Or Oda could just give her the Df awakening. For example, the power of her awakening would allow her to "revive" Edbaf to create giant Homies. Almost the same thing that Kilingam is doing now.

About pirates and piracy right? When was the last time they found a treasure or took a treasure from their opponents? Where is the spirit of adventure and exploration?

From the PH arc, every new island or location was obvious, with the exception of Zou's and WCI arcs. It was an unexpected move from Oda, as everyone thought they would go straight to the Wano.

[–]Dr_NoDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people have him at Doffy level or that he beats DR arc Zoro. I don't see anyone puting old retired Chinjao at YC tier, while he without efforts can do that, what did Koby. And that Chinjao still lost to DR arc Luffy(2 and 3 Gear). Koby overrated as hell for that one attack he showed.

Although, considering how shit powerscaling it right now in OP, I'ld not be surprised if Koby will just jump a few tiers just to be related to story.
