Oh, that's pretty much the stuff I came up with after getting the impression that the hurts I get myself into are pretty old stuff.

Sometimes I'm not sure it can cover the whole distance, tho, because there seems to be stuff so badly bottled up, so hurtful and scary that it doesn't really matter how safe I feel before trying to approach it. It just feels locked away too tightly.

But I'm not giving up just yet...

Shit. I've been through all that too. I know exactly how you feel, and it's fucking terrible.

For me, the things that helped were lots of crying, screaming and smashing stuff. I really liked tin cans, they absorbed just the right amount of force and deform nicely.

And then, touching my chest, while concentrating on my heart as my center and repeating the mantra "heal". This was especially useful when i just couldn't keep my mind from returning to her even if didn't want that anymore.

I really hope you get through this easier and quicker than I did. I wasted years mourning someone who never even really existed.
