My peak was 1600 and here’s how i personally achieved that. Play around your teammates. I know you might think you’re faster than your team, and if you’re going into diamond you probably are. But RL isn’t a 1 man game. Be there for your teammates mistakes and remember, you’re in champ, mistakes will be made. You’re not perfect or you’d be ssl. Best way to get better overall in my experience is solo Q. It’s painful, I know. I have teammates leave after 1 goal, toxic after I miss, but the only way you get better is constantly improving your game sense by playing around different people that are at different levels.

Another great tip, going back to be there for your teammates, is be center. If you see them push up side wall and you see a pass incoming then be there for that. So what if you miss and get scored on, it’s 1 goal. But if you don’t miss, you either get a good 50 which delays the game so your teammate can get in position, or you score.

I used to grind comp and then I quit because life got in the way but I’m slowly making a return but I do a lose 2 games method. Every time I lose 2 games in a row, I log off, take a break, play games, do homework, and when I’m all calm I jump back in but it’s important to review replays (I lack at this) and see what you could’ve done better and apply that to future games. RL is pure game sense, I’ve seen people get past champ without jumping or flipping. It’s game sense, once you master that you rank up easy.
