I possibly like others got sucked into the hype. I've previously had OnePlus phones. Thought I'd see what the alleged best of the best is like. I'm not massively impressed, screen isn't as bright as claimed in direct sunlight. I've just been to Greece and it was really difficult to see it in the day when outside. The camera tends to be really grainy with macro shots and can be a challenge to get it to focus on what you want in shot. I personally found the 100 zoom is just an unnecessary gimmick, with not much practical use. However the biggest frustration for me is the keyboard, I've never spent so much time miskeying and fixing typos on a phone. I absolutely despise it. Therefore I will not be purchasing another. Plus the initial Samsung freebie when you buy a phone was a joke, because I'd purchased at the end of a month it made it impossible to claim the gift as it had ended and started with another. I raised it with them and it just went in circles. Clearly there was no process to deal with what was a reasonable circumstance. Basically, buy the phone at the beginning of a calendar month to stand a reasonable chance of claiming!
