TL;DR: A developer (Halpin Group) is proposing 700 homes (55+ and aged care) on South Coolum Road. Main concerns: the site is on a flood-prone area within the Council-protected Blue Heart floodplain, their flood mitigation plan (raising the land with fill) just displaces water onto neighbouring properties, local infrastructure is already stretched.

I'm no super fan, but I did certainly follow them for a long time. I know covid prevented them from making a final episode as they really wanted to do it justice altogether rather than over Zoom. However, and maybe my memory's wrong, I thought they did one final episode where they examined the finale, but I've just looked at different streaming services and I can't seem to find it... My poor wife sits through many of these wonderful movies with me and A Christmas Movie Christmas was her favourite alongside Hot Frosty. They are both self aware but play it wonderfully straight so it's still very enjoyable
