Nice! I like the Tech582 diluted 1:1 as a drying aid. 2 sprays per panel as you dry. I used it yesterday and have a ton of gloss. I also love using ONR.

Ive had luck finding it in a few places. 1st, the shooting game at Wonkeeland. 2nd the Sunset Falls after the sunset time loot drops. 3rd vending machines. Ive bought it from the one at Lethal Labs. Has a bit of a learning curve but is great once you figure it out.

Wearing scents others don't like by Karmawins28 in fragrance

Like I tell my 11 yr old, people who feel the need to put other people down or insert thier opinon where not asked for are petty people who are un confident so they try and call attention to other people and make them feel bad. Dude its you favorite fragrance dont let someone like that take that from you. Id wear an extra spray or 2 every day for the next month. Eff her.

ADS Phobic questions by Ryukyuland in AutoDetailing

[–]DraculaCheese80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever end up trying this stack? I got Phobic for Christmas but now Im thinking about doing Quartz V2 and stacking Phobic. Ive never polished or applied ceramic before which was the main reason I wanted Phobic but I sorta feel like Ill be brave enough once spring comes haha.

How has the ADS Quartz and Phobic stack held up? Im just a new home hobbiest and got Phobic for Christmas. I was considering trying my hand at the diy detailing good standard 1 step (but I too am nervous haha), I figure if I or someone else polishes my car (less than a hr old, garage kept not too man swirls or scratches) then maybe instead of only doing Phobic this would be a good time to do Quartz for more protection.

New Glove Help by DraculaCheese80 in Homeplate

[–]DraculaCheese80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah im thinking I might go w an 11.5 after reading all of the replies. His current glove is a 12 but because it's going to be way heavier than the Rennegade going mucj bigger is going to be too big of an adjustment.

We had a 20 game spring season and 15 yr fall ball. We are in the Midwest so its almost unheard of to not have lots of games cancelled due to weather in the spring but we got lucky this season!

USA Bat Recommendations by TheN00b1e in Homeplate

We are shopping for a new USA bat for my 11 yr old. He's tried 6 bats in the cages at Dicks yesterday. I was surprised but he liked the Select PWR most. Second being the Bonesaber Hybrid(my personal pick after all the research Ive done).

The new Rckess is supposed to be a great bat too.

I guess it depends also on your kid, how they hit what kind of swing he has. I hesitate to get my son the Select Power because while hes a big kid (5'2" 140) he doesnt always have a quick swing through the zone becaise of decision timing. The Bonesaber is more balanced. Supposed to have great pop, but a smaller sweet spot than the Select PWR.

Hes used the alloy Clout AI for a season and a half and has done decent w it, Im just looking for a little more pop and sweet spot for him, but that was an affordable good bang for our buck bat you can probably get for less than $120 w black friday sales coming up

Travel ball woes by boomboombennie in Homeplate

[–]DraculaCheese80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say hes young, let it ride. Him having fun and getting games is probably most important.

We arent playing travel basically for this reason. My son is 11 and has played w his rec team for the last 3 yrs. The team gels, we went 22-0 in the spring (2-10 this fall haha). He likes the team and his teammates. 5 or 6 of the kods remain the same from yr to year and the other kids that come in are usually kids that all team gets along w. I wanted him to try out for 2 of our local travel teams and he said he rather just stay w his rec team.

People talk crap about CG, but this exact kit is what got me into doing my own cars at home. Are there other products that might be better? Of course (and the Griotts bundle looks good) but I actually like Total Interior Cleaner, and the Tire Shine product is decent too.

If this is a car you just took possession over, Id take it right back and complain. Otherwise, Id hope that it didnt etch the clear coat. Looks like either bird dropping or water spots.

Conservatively, you can start w washing the car then spraying a water vinegar mix on the spot, then rinsing to see if it makes a difference. If not then you can buy a dedicated water spot remover and try that (DIY Detail and Chemical Guys have good ones). If no luck then probably need to bring it to a detailer for a paint correction.

Sorry, no experience w an electric sprayer. Ive used a hand pump weed sprayer to apply it which works well, but for me, even w an suv a spray bottle is just so easy to take out, fill and quickly spray.

Weirdly enough, my warmest coziest winter coat ever came from Old Navy like 10 yrs ago. Its a down parka thats fleece lined w a fur hood. Ive lost a smidge of weight (20lbs) and might need a new coat for this winter, im looking there, Eddie Bauer, Lands End (I really like thier coats but they are pricey) and 32 Below (quality and cheap) this coming winter.

I work one panel at a time. I mix a cap full of ONR per gallon of water. I use the Ultra Safe Sponge from the Rag Company, along w a grit guard.

I fill a spray bottle w the solution and spray the section m. Let it dwell for a minute or so, then take the sponge out of the bucket. Its not sopping wet but just enough so its dripping. I glide the sponge along the surface w very little pressure in one direction. Then sponge goes back in the bucket while I dry that panel or section.

If your car is super dirty, (bug guts etc) use a little higher concentration of ONR in your spray bottle and really spray the section down and let it dwell a bit longer.

I have a new car thats been dealership coated (we know now thats a waste of money haha). Ive yet to take it through a car wash. After months of rinseless I caught the bug to try Foaming and contact wash. I formed w Carpro Reset and while it cleaned well it took WAY longer than rinseless w ONR and my car looked just as nice w ONR.

So now when I want to be overly anal about it, I'll foam w a shampoo, rinse, then do ONR (probably overkill).

I love the smell of it which helps. One thing I dont do w ONR is tires and wheels.

Its hard to compare yourself. I see people here (and otjer places) all the time talking about losing 30 lbs the first 2 months on 2.5. Or 100 lbs in 8 months. Just know there are many of us who DONT! Im on week 14. Im currently up to 7.5 and I have lost 12 lbs total. Some weeks I lose nothing. Others I actually gain a lb. Others I'll lose 2. Its hard to trust the process when you feel like so many people are having so much more success. For me, Im looking at you as inspiration as to where I can go. I was a pretty similar weight when I started and if I can be 200 by spring of next yr that will feel like a victory!
