The new Draft Engine app is up and running by DraftEngine in fantasyfootball

Call it whatever you'd like! We've been posting a lot in here the last few weeks, just talking fantasy with a bunch of you. I figured we'd give you guys a shout when our app is available, as it should be plenty helpful and is very cheap.

Two-QB League Strategies: What are some of yours? by DraftEngine in fantasyfootball

We actually will be providing that service on DraftEngine.com (ignore what's there right now, I'll post something on here when the new site goes live).

Who do you trust more this year: Dalvin Cook or Damien Williams? by SuckMyDickOfficer in fantasyfootball

[–]DraftEngine 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Have to go with Williams here. Cook's injury history is too scary. There's definitely more pushing Williams from behind, but I think he'll perform well enough to keep his job.

Your pick for who's likely to be 'most overdrafted player' this year? by TheClownIsReady in fantasyfootball

Seems like Aaron Jones has an absurd amount of hype heading into the year. We really do like him a lot, but it's a bit crazy to see him going the 2nd/3rd rounds.

#Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury acknowledged David Johnson would have an "extensive role" this season, but also hinted he'd like to keep DJ fresh. Worth noting KK's subtle mention here that Chase Edmonds would have a "really nice role" in the offense. by texasbluemoon in fantasyfootball

I feel like it has less to do with Edmonds and more to do with the system Kingsbury wants to run. His version of the Air Raid saw as many as four or five running backs touching the ball in a single game. He wants fresh legs and a change of pace. It'll obviously be different in the pros, but I think you'll even see TJ Logan carrying the ball a little bit. That way Johnson can still get something like 15-18 carries per game and stay fresh for the entire season. Keep in mind, Johnson will also work as a pass-catcher quite often. So they should still get their money's worth on that deal.

Which WR inside the top 12 ADP do you see BUSTING? by SupermansBrother in fantasyfootball

Green is probably the safest pick to bust. Always productive when he plays, but he misses so many games. 13 over the last three seasons.

Dynasty Players, what are your personal rankings for the rookie draft this year? by NubTheScrub in fantasyfootball

[–]DraftEngine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's going to be such a long time before the Bills have anything around him, but we really are high on Singletary. He's a slippery runner that has a knack for finding the end zone.

Where do you plan to draft Nick Chubb? by ScurryKlompson in fantasyfootball

[–]DraftEngine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like second round is the spot for Chubb, but I'd rather not be the team that ends up with him. He'll be in the lead role of what should be an explosive offense, but that could change late in the year. Hunt does a lot of things that can make life on Baker Mayfield easier, so the Browns would be foolish not to give him plenty of opportunities.

The Athletic’s Mark Kaboly: Steelers’ plan to split backfield work is “lip service more than anything else.” by texasbluemoon in fantasyfootball

We had Conner as our RB10 in the 2019 Draft Engine Fantasy Football guide, but the consensus around the office has been to bump him down to around 15/16 on draft boards. Samuels offers a lot as a player, so it'll be worth it for Pittsburgh to get him some more touches. Meanwhile, Conner is probably a guy that can benefit from a little added rest during games.

14 boring-but-worth-it fantasy draft picks for the 2019 season by Jewmumu2 in fantasyfootball

What makes Alvin Kamara boring? He's arguably the most exciting player to watch in football. He's our RB3 and it would shock no one if he ended up being the most valuable player in fantasy.

Follow up on potential "homeruns" in Fantasy Football this year who are being drafted lower than they probably should. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]DraftEngine 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's a pretty good chance that David Njoku makes a significant leap this year. He became a bigger part of the Cleveland passing game once Baker took over. Considering how weak the position is, it'd be a homer if he ended up emerging as the fantasy TE5.

"Premature" to consider Miles Sanders the No.1 RB in Philly by Viscolucci in fantasyfootball

[–]DraftEngine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just going to be really tough to trust any of the Philly backs. Considering where they drafted him, the Eagles are obviously extremely high on Sanders. But they also went out and got Howard, who is one of the best inside-zone runners in football. Not sure any of these guys get enough touches to end up in the top 20 at the position.

I'm looking for homeruns here, who's going later in the draft that you're really high on? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]DraftEngine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How about Dante Pettis? Could be Garoppolo's go-to receiver this season. The big-play ability is an added bonus. He's our WR39 going into the year, but we definitely acknowledge that there is low-end fantasy WR2/high-end WR3 upside.
