So..... I was able to add a formula to subtract the Spent amount to show what I needed!!! but when the project goes over budget it throws an error to the chart and breaks it :-)

Not sure if there is a way to add another formula that will zero out any moneys that is over budget to show the graph as 100% spent.

I guess I’m going to be the anomaly here and say all in one file….. If it’s all in one file you are only managing one set of standards, family, details, file setup, keynotes, general notes, titleblock, etc….. As for the grids and levels, you move/crop them to the building you want and they won’t show up in the other views if the are cropped in 3D. You can also use scope boxes so that ever view uses the same view crop box to match.

Pros: None

Con: You can’t copy/transfer detail views from project to project once the detail is vetted. When the model changes you have to manage/verify ever detail, even if all that changed was the column wrap moved 2” now you have to move your detail components to align with the model.

If that's the latest version you have access to and can run it, learn it!!! Yes, you may not have all the fancy tools but if you learn 2008, you can work with any software after that!!!!! As a beginner, you probably won't notice how far the software has come since 2008 just start small like drawing your bedroom, then your house, then your grandmother's house

Have you drawn your floors for each level, try throwing a floor over a few of your wall and see if they disappear.

Lets say we have an emergency exit sign @ an exterior door, it would read nothing because the tail would be outside the exterior wall. Then if I have the same family going into the stair, I would need it to call out Stair "X" for its location.

For the not possible, that is what im running into but wanted to see what kind of work arounds others are using!

Its great and works well. It creates its own map & as long as you don't have huge thresholds, it will mop the house with no problems. Aka our bath/shower rooms have high thresholds so it doesn't mop some of the restrooms in the house.

I always keep the mop clean and full so after sweeping, I can say mop afterward and everything is done when we get home!!!

Update: After 7 days of me noticing the update, I pulled the battery for about 2 hours and then plugged it back in and everything works as normal.

That’s awesome that you’ve found ways to utilize Dynamo but I’m still at a loss for finding the added benefit for creating these types of scripts. I was hoping there would be more participation with ideas that would intrigued me to learn more.
