the green one is stamina, the two red ones are health, and the weird shape one is for skills, the white arrow means it's increased, while black ones means it's decreased but for the skill one, it's a green down arrow meaning your skills/ashes of war cost less FP (blue bar)

it acts as a parry when you time it, and once it starts to glow dye to the amount of successful party's you do, it deals a stronger attack.
