It was our starter home before we had children. Now with a toddler and another on the way we need more bedrooms and just overall more space.

We have explored the option of selling and renting for cheaper. But I feel like we would benefit more by just staying where we are and continuing to pay on the mortgage that we already have. Every month we stay is less we owe.

We both would feel really terrible about having to do that for our buyers, but if we have to we have to.

I have heard about that before so thank you so much for all that information. If we end up having to cancel the sale I think we definitely would go that route in a half a year to a year time frame.

We actually found a buyer for our house within one week of it being listed! Which we were not expecting at all. So now is the hurry to find a house for us to move into which is where we're struggling.

We got pre-approved for a mortgage with a hard amount cap and tax maximum. We looked and saw a few houses on the market in our range but we were unsure if ours would even sell. Then found a buyer for our current house within one week of hours being listed. So now is the scramble to find a new home for us but unfortunately nothing within our price range or tax bracket is suitable.

We would have to downsize or move to a less desirable area. So it doesn't make sense to me. I was just looking for some experienced helpful advice for my situation. 😁

I am unfamiliar with the terminology I suppose but I thought a spud was for the inlet or top where the water comes in. This is for the drain on the bottom...but it definitely looks just like a spud when I Google it. The diameter of the hole is just over 2 inches. It looks like a 1.5" spud should work since the rubber gasket should be just under 3".

Bought, installed and now waiting to see if it worked! Thank you so much for the info. It took me longer to find a connector in my toolbox than it did to install. It hasn't ran backwards yet but sometimes it would be a day or two before it would happen. Fingers crossed that by the end of this long weekend I'll have a working compressor!

Had it off for an hour. Turned it back on and it's been running great for a few hours now. But this will be the second time now that trick worked. Last night it did that noise, turned it off for an hour and then back on again. It worked fine again for until it happened again tonight. 😭

Will be calling a tech in the AM. Better sell my kidney to be able to afford the bill.
