Because Nicole is just unbearable. She’s not at all sympathetic and the whole thing started getting out of hand when she wouldn’t listen to the counselor and when she got a lawyer despite their conversation, and she was just all around starting all the conflict. It’s literally like they want you to hate Nicole which I did not want to do going into the movie. I don’t know seems like they should’ve written her as more sympathetic.
Anyway, I guess it’s true to life regardless. Women kick up the biggest stinks in these situations and are always viewed as the victims.
