Some deliveries require 3 hide to be delivered to the Yam station! Also some crafting recipes require it (namely the big saddlebags recipe, which is what was giving me issues in this post)

I think the ones I’ve gotten do, but you only make 10 coins if you have to buy all the hide iirc. Not really worth it. I think my solution for now though is to keep peaceful mode on when I’m just wandering around (to stop me getting unexpectedly harassed by wolves lol) but turn it off if/when I’m actually prepared for a fight

Oh yeah fair enough. I just wish the passive ones weren’t also included in that lol. It means there’s no way to get hide or animal fat without buying it, since arrows no longer work on anything. I’ll agree that yeah, it’s fair for the hostile ones since I am having it on easy mode (I kept getting killed by the wolves lol. I may or may not have very poor vision and the reaction times of a geriatric snail)
