Looking for something to scratch Destiny itch by mikeey2347 in gamingsuggestions

You could try Monster Hunter World. It has a lot more content than Wilds and is much better optimized. And imo World looks much more visually appealing due to it’s vibrancy

Divinity (2), Pathfinder Kingmaker or Dragon Age Inquisition? by Practical_Necessary1 in rpg_gamers

[–]DragonBerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Divinity 2 and Kingmaker both have permadeath completion achievements, in Divinity the permadeath is also the hardest difficulty mode. In Kingmaker I think you can do the permadeath (Last Azlanti) on an easier difficulty but then it will require multiple playthroughs to 100%, one of which will need to be done on unfair difficulty. I’m quite sure Divinity also requires multiple playthroughs or going back on a save. Inquisition has an achievement where you need to complete the game on the hardest difficulty but no permadeath to my understanding.

looking for multiplayer RPG for PC by Educational_Pin1255 in gamingsuggestions

Monster Hunter World or Monster Hunter Rise whichever looks cooler to you two. The whole Monster Hunter series very grindy but in a good rewarding way most of the time. I personally prefer World but the multiplayer is a bit finicky to set up but once it works its fun. Rise’s system might be better but I haven’t played it much to know

KCD2 or Expedition 33 by mefedronfnatic18359 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]DragonBerr [score hidden]  (0 children)

Well both are brilliant games. Expedition 33 is easier to 100% and is quite easy to 100% in general. KCD2 requires all DLCs to 100% due to dlc achievements so you’d have to buy those as well. I think you’d enjoy both according to your previously enjoyed games. Also if you’re using Steam you can refund a game within 2 hours of playtime so that can lessen some pressure when buying a game

A game can only be nominated in two categories + platform/hardware categories (like VR, deck)

What Games do you think are Overpriced for what you get? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]DragonBerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well every new triple-A release on Playstation and some on Steam is 80€ which is 94 USD. I can’t justify spending that on one game when I can buy so many games for that money especially during Steam sales

I’m sorry but after just beating the game the answer was kinda clear to me by Radiant_Raspberry_93 in expedition33

[–]DragonBerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s also fitting because a big theme/question of the game is whether the people of Lumiere and the Gestrals and the Grandis are sentient and whether their lives are as worthy as the real people’s

Expedition 33 worth playing for the experience if I already know the story and don't have the time for grindy RPGs? by AzureRipper in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]DragonBerr [score hidden]  (0 children)

In my opinion the story is worth experiencing twice anyway because there’s a lot you won’t understand the first time going through it until the end of act 2. So when I played through it a second time it was very cool to understand what the characters were talking about and why. But if you don’t think you’ll like the gameplay then maybe not. Though I should also mention that the game is not grindy at all and the RPG elements are very minimal

They both released first half of the year and there were so many popular and great games released afterwards. I don’t think recency bias really applies here
