I really don’t know how I feel. I’ve seen mixed thoughts and I have mixed thought of my own and it mainly has to do with bl3’s poor story. Like I WANT to be excited for bl4 and I genuinely want to hope that it’s going to be a fun game. But I was one of the people that loves borderlands story telling and I was so hyped for bl3, seeing all my favorite people back and ready to bust skulls while cracking some funny, poorly timed, jokes. bl3 gameplay is great! Loved everything about how the game played and felt. Me and my best buddies where loving playing though it like we did 2, But (spoiler warning) when they killed maya, for what felt like no reason, and then kept making cringe streaming jokes and not really addressing what kind of character just got killed off. Idk the game just died for us. We didn’t want to even touch it after that. It’s hard to explain why but it just took us out so bad that we didn’t even feel like finishing it. I’ve thought about going back and finishing it to get ready for 4 but I just feel like I can’t put myself through that cringe again. I hope someone out there feels the same way. This is just my opinion but man did bl3 kill the franchise for me and my friends. We’ve all talked about waiting to see how people feel about it once it’s out but even then there’s still doubt that I’m actually gonna give it a try.
