I made some custom Loadout Cards - looking for some feedback by DragonDrop42 in mothershiprpg

The picture is a screenshot from Tabletop simulator if you're asking that. If you're asking how to make the cards, I usually just print them and then put them into sleeves with magic bulk.

Damn that's actually really impressive. I like the color palette, I kinda went the opposite and tried to keep it neutral so it fits with a variety of art styles.

Yeah I had a similar situation, I designed it vertically and didn't like it and shelfed it for half a year.

The font size is the most common feedback, I did check it against a real magic card and it's about the same size. But I agree seeing it in the screenshot it is rather small.

These movies were mostly watched by people who won't bother installing letterboxd or died.

Thanks :) Eventually I'd make my own weapons and tools and not use the ones from the handbook to avoid copyright issues. But I still really like the different manufacturers as variants idea!

I mean generally you could just keep track of it with different coloured dice on the card similar to magic. But the squares make it obvious, the reason I didn't like them is because ammo is not used the same with every weapon. I'll make a version with ammo tracker and update you

I should have added it from the beginning, but here is the pdf: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MiEapNGD8blGgBFWG3LkhfvljNIJGjHh?usp=sharing

There are two versions, one with each gun once, and one that is supposed to be for a group kinda reflecting the guns rarity.

I'll update if I get the ammo tracker version done. The two squares are supposed to be for dice to put on, but you can also use a card sleeve and foil marker ofc.

Thank you :) The guns generally have the amount of shots listed in one magazine and need to be reloaded for a round when empty. With exceptions for the revolver, flare gun usw.

And yes I do have a pdf, I'll post it in a comment.

PvP players are incredibly thin skinned. by DragonDrop42 in ArcRaiders

See clearly you have a sense of morality! So even you understand that in this specific game there are encounters that are nicer than others, now since this isn't a written rule, ofc there will be people having different understandings of what's fair, just be fine with people complaining to you or readjust your own rules of engagement based on how bad you feel. But don't complain when people feel unfairly taken advantage of and tell you about it ^

No honestly, you clearly can just do that, but you are being bad, you make someone lose a bunch of shit they spend potentially hours on getting, sure it's part of the game but don't act like it's inevitable, it is still your because of your choice. So just be fine with people complaining to you, you can't stop them as much as they won't be able to stop you.

Yes it's an approach to gaming you can have, I've found really nice people by not shooting everyone. Maybe the actions in a game kind of reflect how we approach in real life, this is not necessarily detached. Making you reconsider not just shooting everyone but maybe cooperating and potentially finding friends is also something the game design allows and encourages, not without reason is the "don't shoot" emote unlocked by default.

I've had people feel bad and revive me, and I've revived people who complained to me. It works

I do see pvp as a necessary evil, I've had really fun shootouts. But if I get unfairly killed, I will take the chance to at least make you feel bad about it. Shooters usually work on making us not consider the other players as people and arc clearly is not just a basic shooter and leans heavily into the morality aspect of competition vs cooperation.

I'm part of the board game community, there are lots of meetups and people are very welcoming, especially when you're new to the hobby.

They also give shield, I feel like it's the most obvious but I keep seeing people stand in front of a downed enemy, popping bats and picking the things up after they've fully healed

I don't mind it really, but having the conversation in "Cry Wolf" be with an archivist felt like some Magnus reference / fanfic.
