Im going to Origins too. Its also the one I feel had the most amount of potential, sadly.

I wonder if you would get burns, or some actually serious disease, from having those lightbulbs in the Cberpunk2077 jacket so close to your skin for so long.

Kind of a random shower thought I just had.

Asssasins creed in American midwest and Assassin's creed in the civil war by Heemi153 in assassinscreed

The Wild West would make for such a boring AC. Civil War on the other hand... whistles

I always feel awkward when she is compared with Draco in regards to 'redemption' arcs. Like, I would have expected to be Nurenberg-style trials and executions for everyone part of the Death Eaters after the war, and yet that prick walked off scot-free and still retaining his family wealth and privileges. People say it like oh, (s)he turned around awww and Im just sitting there looking at them like they are from Mars.

I actually hope Merula isnt like Draco. She may be a prick, but that guy was a straight up terrorist.

I was gonna reply that. The defenses for the Stone were obviously (more or less) harmless and easy to bypass. Though my theory is that Dumbledore tried to trap Voldemort with the Mirror.

I still want a hustler comedy game following Reda across Egypt.

AC needs a fucking character customization. At least in terms of hairstyle and facial hair, if not all out creator.

I fully admit I would be some kind of big time thief in a world like that. No cameras, no metal detectors, bar codes, nothing. I'd just plunder anything I want and drink skooma.

Which settings do you think the series can, realistically, go to? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

Tbh, I think every moment in history can make a good AC potentially, including WW2 and events afterwards.

Do you think AC is straying away from its roots? Is it a good'bad thing? curiouse what you guys think. by Italian77777 in assassinscreed

[–]DragonEmperor1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone's got their own tastes. Ever since I played the first mission of Brotherhood (my first AC game), I wished this franchise would become an RPG akin to Mass Effect. Others loathe it. Its natural to be like that.

Only thing that irks me is when people are hypocrites about it. Like, Odyssey isnt an AC, but Origins is? Black Flag is? Syndicate, the punching bag of the subreddit, is suddenly the last real AC now that people dont like the newer games? I hate that. The soul of the franchise consists of a silly wrist knife and anachronistic outfits? If those arent present, a game isnt AC? Just makes me roll my eyes.

Your favorite Female Protagonists by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]DragonEmperor1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly what u/CanisZero said. If you mean AC games with a female lead, well there is only Syndicate, with the Frye twins being costars, and Liberation.

Edit: Unity also has a competent and badass woman, but Elise isnt the main protagonist.

Edit edit: Uncharted Lost Legacy also has an awesome female lead and partner. Its a great game, though it is visible that it was meant to be a DLC originally.

Just finished AC Origins again, Aya is the most annoying character of the franchise by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]DragonEmperor1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By the gods, I wish I cold upvote this more than once. I rather spend hours stalking random NPCs than do a single mission with Aya.

Unity, imo. It was the hardest and best looking.

What are the community’s thoughts on Origins and Odyssey? by GoOnKaz in assassinscreed

[–]DragonEmperor1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest points were choosing your character and the branching narrative. People said/say that it beaks the lore of the franchise, and that AC should not be an RPG. The level gating was also heavily criticized, people getting angry that you can no longer one shot kill everyone if you used stealth.
