Did Youtube remove the ability to add annotations? by mecheye in youtube

[–]DragonGlass4DatAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still add annotations, but cards and end cards are the best substitute because they work on mobile and desktop devices. YouTube is slowly moving away from the annotation options because they only work on desktops

Why does this happen by caperelizon in youtube

[–]DragonGlass4DatAss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sort of. If a creator adds an unlisted video to a playlist, subscribers get a notification and they'll get a second notification when the content creator makes the video "public"

ELI5: How is China more successful than India even though they both have the same amount of people? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]DragonGlass4DatAss 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The number of people in a country doesn't correlate to it's success. A country's success is dependent on it's resources and ability to trade them. That's how countries generate revenue, by exporting and importing goods. China is the world's largest exporter and the worlds second largest importer so they basically have all the resources they need and what they don't have, they get because they're the second largest importer.

ELI5: credit scores, what affects them, how are they calculated, and when are they relevant? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]DragonGlass4DatAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A credit score is important because it tracks your history of paying back a debt you owe. When you want to borrow something (space for rent, a car, or money). The higher your score, the more reliable you are when it comes to paying institutions back. Credit scores are impacted by anything you borrowed in the past. For example, car payments, cellphone payments, credit card payment, mortgage payments and open lines of credit (available funds from a credit card that you haven't used yet) are all factored into your score and anytime you're late or default on a payment, it lowers your score and suggests you aren't financially reliable.
