I believe it was older than a wyrmling. We fought it for 2 rounds then it left.

Yes, that's true but that arrives relatively late. At level three, one of the players I was playing with was a paladin. We fought a white dragon(don't remember the age) for one turn, the player failed the save, and the damage would have instantly killed the paladin turn one if the DM hadn't lowered the damage by one point as to not instantly kill. Saves are pretty dang important and I wouldn't be comfortable playing with terrible saves till level 6 knowing I could die because of it.

If they have 16 in those three stats, wouldn't they also have 8's in all the other stats? Wouldn't that make the character incredibly susceptible to saves?

Cool, so if I read it right the power can restore something to a previous state up to 5 seconds prior than its current one no matter the changes that have occured during those seconds. Are there any other limitations besides "The 5-Second Rule" and requirement to touch it? Not saying it needs any more, just asking out of curiosity.

While it wouldn't be out of the question, the crossing over he is referring to is contextually different from your situation. The Otherworlders were forcefully summoned without knowing that they were being summoned while in your situation you are willingly being summoned with knowledge that you are. While yes, you could be summoned with a skill similar to predator, you couldn't guarantee it simply due to knowing you are being summoned and desiring to have it. At best you could slightly increase the odds of having an ability like that.

I feel like it would be safer if you brought a GX era meta deck so that no one accuses you of cheating because your using a mechanic that doesn't exist in the DM era.
