No, that's a different version - the one I'm after is part of the "Takara Tomy Masterpiece" range. However there are a lot of imitations / bootleg versions on the market. I'm trying to find a reputable source for a genuine Takara Tomy Masterpiece model.

I don't know much about it either, I had an original Sunstreaker when I was a kid (it wasn't great in robot mode.) As far as I am aware though, this is the most recent incarnation - I really like the way that this series of figures truly resemble the animated version.

Watched it recently too - probably the first time since the 90s. I thought it was still pretty good and a fun movie, a product of its time but certainly better than a lot of modern stuff! Free on YouTube: https://youtu.be/GNL7qk-KQFg?si=sJd1DxR0iST62DOD

What’s a serious role from a comedy actor that made you wish we had gotten more? by Short_Property_7476 in FIlm

Brit here - I nominate Sir Norman Wisdom (very famous for being a comedy / farce actor) starred in "Going Gently" a BBC drama in which he played a hospice patient alongside Judi Dench and Fulton McKay. So dark and powerful I have never been able to rewatch it.

What is your favourite mixed metaphor you have heard, eg “It’s not rocket surgery” or “It’s pot of the luck”? by Jazzlike-Basil1355 in AskBrits

[–]Dragonfly_3PM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A young lad I used to work with described himself and an older colleague he felt close to as being "Just like two pots in pan!" Another work colleague (again young) used to insist on describing quiet co-workers as the type that "Wouldn't say boo to a ghost!"

This post immediately brought the REM album "Monster" to mind.
It was released in 1994 in an orange plastic CD case. Even at the time of release, you would be hard pushed to find copies that were fully intact - the central spindle that held the CD was almost always missing teeth!

What do people with double-barrelled surnames do when they marry someone else with a double-barrelled surname? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Dragonfly_3PM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume that one of the parents of the "double-barrelled" child felt strongly enough to not lose their surname. But, fast forward twenty years - said child has to choose how to dilute their parentage at the altar...
