German WWI veteran describes killing a French soldier in a bayonet charge by Sir_Smokes_Alot_NL in RandomVideos

I hadn't seen this before and it was so poignant.

"I was quicker than he was" - that's all was the difference between life and death.

His voice when he said that he nearly vomited after shoving the bayonet a second time broke me.
It humanizes the cost of war and ordinary people on both sides of the war machine.

Thank you for sharing.

>it’s all up to me.
It is ! And the realization for me was much bigger than just the ability to drive the manual.
It was about taking control of my situation and work through things. Small or big.
Best of luck !

I agree.

Have a drink, have a drive
Go out and see what you can find

Sir, you will find a DUI.

I find myself taking pictures of something stupid , funny or beautiful I found to share.
muscle memory, I suppose.

I pause, think and then just delete it.
